How To Eliminate Stress And Improve Your Sleep Quality

Stress is nobody’s best friend, especially when you are an entrepreneur like me. Did you know that stress can also weaken your immune system, affect your weight and cause other negative impacts? Stress is definitely something that I struggled to deal with my whole life and especially in 2017. However, I have made a few lifestyle and mindset changes since the beginning of this year and I can’t wait to share with you the secret to better sleep and less stressful life.

Tip #1: Focus On Your Own Shhhhh…

This first one hit me hard. A lot of the time, we are the cause of the stress in our life. We care too much about what’s going on around us but not enough about what is happening within us. Shift the focus you have on others and start to focus on your own life! You will be so much happier and so much more fulfilled. I haven’t even mentioned that you would also crush more goals and achieve more things in life.

Tip #2: Only Spend Your Time With The Right People

I know you heard this one before but energy is contagious. When you wake up feeling amazing about life and someone else just has to rain on it, it’s not fun. You will be surprised to know that a lot of your daily stressful feelings are generated by what happens to you but how people around you react to it. Find yourself that group of people that will push you to do more, make you feel invincible and foster your growth.

Tip #3: Always Be The Bigger Person (a.k.a: Let SHIT go)

I am a true Virgo. What the hell does that mean? That means I am allergic to BS. That means I will keep it real 100%. That also means I will remember your fault until the day I die. Eventually, I had to learn to change and learn to become a bigger person. Sometimes being right is not as important as having your own peace.

Tip #4: Take A Digital Detox

Whenever I feel stressed and needed to detox, I just take some time off social media and other devices. I used to think I will not be able to live without my phone until I realized how much stress actually came from the fact that I often got 100 messages within an hour…Entrepreneur’s life right? Having said that, your business is not well if you are not well. Putting your phone and your laptop down for a day, once in a while, can really help you detox and relax.

Tip #5: Add Supplements To Your Daily Routine

I recently learned that things that happened to you is totally out of your control but your stress level is controllable. Especially with the fast-paced lifestyle that we all have today, it is important to understand that you can take a step towards better lifestyle with the right supplements.

The past few months have been a stressful time for me and although taking a break from Toronto’s weather to the Caribbean was a good decision, I still got a few anxieties episodes and sleepless night because of stress.

    Stress is one of the major reasons that causes sleeping disorder. There is no permanent way to get rid of stress. But one can control it by doing few works such as reading entertainment/comedy book, watching interesting video, take Yoga/other light exercise, take proper diet, live with others (not alone), go to tour once a month, etc. These tips will obviously help to reduce your stress and give you a good night sleep.
