ZENMED Skincare Review

Two months ago, Zenmed sent me a package of four different skincare products to try out. They are all customized to my skin condition. Prior to their approach, I have never heard of Zenmed before so I was skeptical to try. However, I have been using the products for about a month now and I want to share with you my experience so far with Zenmed. Although this is a sponsored post, I love that Zenmed was very supportive of me posting this review and expressing my honest opinions about their products. This is what I love about Zenmed as a brand besides the fact that their products are all naturally formulated.

Product #1: ZENMED Facial Cleansing Gel

This is so far my favourite product out of the 4 products that they sent me. This is a very mild and gentle cleanser but surprisingly removes excess oil and makeup very well. It is designed for sensitive skin and is safe for acne prone skin like mine. I love that it cleanses very well without stripping off your skin natural oil. My skin feels fresh and clean afterward.

Product #2: ZENMED AHA BHA Complex

I was super happy when this product arrives. I have been looking for a toner that is alcohol-free and alpha/beta hydroxy acid. AHA/BHA is known for exfoliating, unblocking and minimizing pores. However, I still can’t tell you if I really love or hate this product. After using the product for about two weeks, my jawline started to break out. But then again, my whole face was significantly improved but the acnes around my jawline. I am not sure if it was me or it was my hormones imbalance that caused this break out.

If you are ingredients focused customer, simply click on the ingredients list of this product and you will realize that it has a lot of benefits for acne prone skin. I stopped using it after seeing the break-out but I think I will give it another try very soon.

Product #3: ZENMED Derma Cleanse® Acne Mask & Spot Treatment

Does your clay mask or spot treatment dry out your skin? I was actually the most skeptical when it comes to this clay mask because clay masks tend to break my skin out completely. However, this product quickly became my second favourite product after the cleanser. I used it over night as a spot treatment and once a week all over my face. It is actually the first clay mask that doesn’t dry out my skin at all. Keep in mind that most clay masks work to draw impurities out so you will experience a little bit of ‘purging’ at the beginning. After my 3rd time using the products, I could tell a significant improvement in terms of healing time, redness and over all complexion.

If I have to recommend just one product for those of you that suffer acne, this product will be my ‘MUST HAVE’.

Product #4: ZENMED Renewing MicroDermabrasion Complex

I seriously fell in love with this product. It smells very nutty and immediately smoothen and exfoliates the skin. On their website, it says that makeup lovers swear by this product as it helps your concealer and foundation go on flawlessly so I had to put it to the test. My verdict? This product really does what it promises to do. This is also a great product to use once or twice a week before you apply your expensive treatment products for better penetration.

Have you tried out any of ZENMED products before? Which one is your favourite?

Hope this review helps you picking and choosing the right products to achieve clear and acne free skin :)!

I will definitely have to look into these products. My skin is very acne prone and I have a lot of redness so I’m always on the hunt for new skincare products.

These products look amazing! It’s so hard to find acne products because there are so many on the market but these look worth a try!
